We study butterfly biodiversity and evolution by integrating molecular, cytogenetic and morphological data. Our final goal is to answer general questions regarding chromosome evolution, limits between species, and the link between phylogeography and paleoecology.

  • Faunal genetic comparisons to infer large-scale biogeographical patterns: the colonization of Western Mediterranean islands by butterflies.
