Motivated graduate students having finished their university studies with a high academic mark (2 or higher in the Spanish system), and wishing to carry out a doctoral thesis with us, are welcomed.
PhD Project would be related to the expression of key genes in insect oogenesis. The student would work with classical molecular biology techniques: Real-time PCR expression studies, immunocytochemistry and in situ hybridization, interference by RNAi, as well as with bioinformatic tools to manage microRNA libraries and transcriptomes
