The evolutionary Microbiology lab is currently based at ETH Zurich and will relocate to IBE in
September 2024. We are looking for a Lab Manager/Lab Technician that helps the PI to set up and
organize the wet lab.

You will be in charge of contacting vendors and placing orders, ordering and maintaining
laboratory supplies. You will also be responsible for the general maintenance of the lab and
general wet-lab duties, which include growing bacterial cultures, performing growth curves,
maintenance of the glycerol stocks, media preparation, DNA extractions. You are also expected to
help train new group members.
