We identified in this work around 200 intron markers suitable for their amplification in Rodents. For each marker, we provide all necessary information for primer design in different rodent groups. We also confirmed for ten of these introns their ease of amplification in different rodent species and their high variability. With this work and a previous work dedicated to marker identification in other mammalian orders, we complete our search for fast sequence markers to study multilocus species trees of mammals.
